PTSD Treatment in New Smyrna Beach, South Daytona & Deland, FL
If something you lived through still feels present — in flashbacks, nightmares, a body that stays on high alert, or a world that suddenly feels unsafe — you may be living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It's a natural response to an unnatural experience, and it's treatable. At BFF Clinic, we provide compassionate, trauma-informed PTSD evaluation and treatment for children, teens, and adults across New Smyrna Beach, South Daytona, and Deland, Florida — because your mental health deserves the best friendship.

Trauma Doesn't Stay in the Past
PTSD can develop after any experience that felt life-threatening or deeply unsafe — an accident, violence, loss, medical trauma, or ongoing situations that wore down your sense of safety over time. It doesn't only affect combat veterans, and it doesn't mean something is wrong with you. It means your nervous system is still responding to a threat that's already passed.

Is PTSD only something combat veterans experience?
No. PTSD can develop after any deeply frightening or unsafe experience — accidents, violence, medical trauma, loss, and more.
Do you treat both children and adults for PTSD?
Yes. We currently treat individuals age 8 and older.
Is PTSD treatment done in-person or virtually?
Our psychiatric appointments are conducted in person to support the highest quality of care, and we also offer virtual appointment options.
